Well, today kicked off like any other day. I mean, who would've predicted that a simple trip to grab the mail would escalate my personal disaster zone? I was just finishing up my morning coffee when I figured out I bolted myself out with the keys still inside. Inside! You could not imagine the panic that crashed me like a tidal wave.
I tried every trick I knew of, from forcing the lock to digging it open. Nothing worked!
The sun was getting hotter, and my phone charge was slowly dying. To top it all off, I was starting to feel ridiculous as neighbors started to stare.
Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, a kind neighbor offered calling a locksmith. Let me tell you, that conversation was the most pricey one I've ever made. The locksmith showed up and quickly got my door open.
Lesson learned? Maybe. But mostly, I'm never doing anything without a spare key again! .

- Although calling a locksmith, try to gather any information that might be helpful, like your phone number. This will help the locksmith get to you promptly.
